"Everyone is scared" Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinsky:

"Today, I asked 27 European leaders to include Ukraine in NATO. I asked them directly. Everyone is scared. No one answers. But we are not afraid.

We are not afraid to defend our country; We are not afraid of Russia; We are not afraid to talk to Russia; To talk about the security of our country: We are not afraid to talk about anything, We are not afraid to talk about neutrality.

We are not currently members of NATO but what guarantee do we have? After all, which countries guarantee us? "

"They confronted us alone"  Ukrainian President Vladimir Putin has criticized the West for "alone".

"We are fighting alone to protect our country," Zeleninsky said. "Who helped us fight on our side?" The president replied. "I feel we have been abandoned by the international community, they have promised to support us, but they have left us alone to face death," he said.

Zelinsky said his country was ready to negotiate with Russia, but that this was not a matter of fear, Al Ain News reported.
